One Son

I have a 10 month old and i am so frustrated with him because he always wants to get in the ashtray. i slap his fingers and he still does it what can i do?

Just talk and explain to him... But do not do physical harm, kids won't understand why you slap them.

As others have said, he's young and he doesn't understand what he's doing wrong. Just remove ashtrays and put them on counters or high places that he can't reach! When he gets old enough to understand, explain to him that ashtrays aren't something to be played with.
