Unitarian Universalism is what I most believe in--because it isn't a structured belief system. It more allows you to develop your own faith and beliefs on the basis that you'll get more out of it if you can develop the spiritualism yourself, rather than if a strict set of beliefs and rules are handed out to you from the get-go. It's just a nice, open environment where no one is going to tell you you're going to hell if you don't believe this or that, or if you do this or that. =/

[/b]

That sounds cool, I'm going to go look into that now :)

I'm very spiritual, not reglious at all. I believe in order to find peace, you must first find it in yourself.

I'm looking into things like pagaism....

But right now I would just say I'm a strong believe in fate, mother nature, and reincarnation :)

I am a follower of Christ of Nazareth.

I do not subscribe to what anyone but G-d tells me through the bible or what others tell me when it is biblically backed.

I don't derive politics(as far as I know) from my religion. In fact, I'm pretty apathetic when it comes to politics in secular as well as religious society simply because I can see both sides to almost any argument.

I call myself Follower of Christ of Nazareth because the term "Fundamentally Christian" is too paradoxical. I do believe that Love is the best way to live. I believe Christ died for everyone's sins, no matter how strong a person believes the sin is, including suicide, murder, homosexuality, doubt, what have you, but only if they ask Jesus to come into their heart.

I believe Fundamentally Christian is paradoxical simply because it groups me with Fred Phelps and others who take one or two verses of disapproval and make a cult out of it. I would call myself Nondenominational, but that is a denomination... so I'm a follower of Christ of Nazareth. Not that the label matters. I'm me, He's He, and that's all I can say.

Born and raised Roman Catholic. I left the church by choice before I was 16. I believe in science, the betterment of humanity, friends, family, and that people can be generally good; but I am a realist above all. I've grown cynical of the world and I tend to just reduce things to what they are. Religion is no different. I do not believe in organized religion.

born-again Christian, i accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior by choice.

i believe in every word in the Bible literally, although my sickness, i'm sorry to say, has somewhat weakened my faith. i was what you might call "spiritually abused" by my holier-than-thou grandmother who used God as a threat against me, so i was always very "religious" on the outside, but resented God within. since my sickness i've tossed out that image and been trying to reach out more. i have cast out what my grandmother thinks about God, because that's not what I think.

I know God loves everyone and God loves me.

I know I am a child of God, and he cares about every breath I take.

I know God does not want to hurt me, and the things he does for me are out of love, not duty.

the rest of my faith i am still struggling in, or more like working on.

sorry if that's confusing, but that's what's going on.

I don't see how. I'm stating why I lost my faith and all the factors relating to it: (a) research, (b) personal thought and (c) personal experience through the ageing process. How can my personal experience be considered a bash? I think you're reading too much into it.

Yeah, I guess...

I just get really defensive when it comes to religion...

even if its not my religion...

idk why, but i think it has something to do with that I am very open to things and I'm tired of people getting up in arms when I say "I don't believe in the Christian God. But I respect it."

thoughts provided on this - I've made a post in here before but for the last two years since I've married and had a childof my own - I am Native American. i believe everything has a spirit. One G-d? probably but I'd like to think there is more on this land and water. One saying sticks with me daily and that's the serenity prayer but instead of "G-d" it says Great Spirit.

I dont know what I am. I believe in nothing, but I'm open to possibilities. As of now I dont believe in any type of higher power, and most likely won't without substantial evidence. I believe in science.

I guess I would fit into the agnostic category. But that's only if I need to be under a certain name!

I do have my own beliefs, but they're different from any religion that I've ever heard of.

I don't worship any god, or follow any religious practices, but whenever I talk about a god I always talk as if there is one and that they are real.
