I hope you're OK.
According to a BBC.com website article....
"Bullies brains may be hardwired to have sadistic tendencies."
Click on THIS to read the article.
Apparently....
"An area of the brain associated with reward lit up in scans when aggressive boys watched a video of someone inflicting pain. Boys without a history of unusual aggression had no such response, the study in Biological Psychology found."
To all of that I say.... NONSENSE!!
It's putting the cart before the horse. OF COURSE a bullies brain is going to respond positively to viewing aggressive behavior. But that doesn't mean that the bully is a 'victim' of some sort of brain disorder.
If you compared the brain activity of people who smoke cigarettes and those who don't and had all of them view a film where people were smoking - would it be 'proof' that smoker's BRAINS are different because they responded more favourably to watching others smoke? ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
The very fact that the study was performed by BIOLOGISTS might tell you something. Hmm..... is it just a coincidence that biologists found a biological connection?! Not likely.
But that's my opinion.
What do YOU think?!
GREAT BIG HUG
Craig!!
